Jesse’s path to acupuncture began with pre-med studies at Cornell University, but a ceramics apprenticeship in Japan shifted his focus. Living abroad and drawn to healthcare, he found himself more aligned with the principles of Eastern medicine. But that wasn’t the only reason. He witnessed family members struggle to find answers with traditional medicine and Jesse’s fascination with the holistic blend of medicine and philosophy that Eastern practices provided sparked his curiosity that the answers might just be in a different place.

He received his Masters from Northwestern Health Sciences University, interned at the Edith Davis Acupuncture Clinic, and held rotations at Pillsbury House and the Salvation Army. He furthered his training with advanced studies at Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. While proficient in various Chinese medicine modalities, including needling, cupping, Tui-Na massage, and herbal medicine, Jesse is certified in Wakefield facial acupuncture, a specialized technique for facial rejuvenation.

Dr. Ashley is the Lead Chiropractic Physician at Woodbury Family Chiropractic. While she is trained through the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association (ICPA), she’s dedicated to guiding individuals of all ages towards feeling their absolute best. Her passion for pediatric care started during her time at a pediatric clinic in White Bear Lake, where she witnessed firsthand the profound impact of chiropractic adjustments on children. From improved comfort and happiness in the children themselves to the visible relief in parents and caregivers, Dr. Ashley recognized the transformative power of her chiropractic work.

For Dr. Ashley, her reward is seeing patients, both young and old, live unrestricted and pain-free lives. She deeply values her connection with patients and the power of trust in her treatment rooms, believing many people settle for “normal aches and pains” without realizing how much better their bodies can feel. For children, Dr. Ashley believes that when we teach kids how to value, love, and care for their bodies, they’re inspired to live a more vibrant and healthy life.

Dr. Michelle attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison before earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. A mission trip to Dajabon, Dominican Republic, solidified her passion for chiropractic’s ability to restore health, even in challenging circumstances. After personally experiencing the transformative effects of chiropractic care, Laura’s perspective shifted entirely. Upon integrating chiropractic, acupuncture, and massage here at Woodbury Family Chiropractic, she felt the depth of healing that this integration offers. Driven by this experience, she was eager to join the team, dedicated to helping you feel your very best.

Her passion for helping people move better, feel stronger and reconnect with their bodies from the inside out, shines through in her practice. With a foundation in sports and orthopedic massage, Laura takes a clinical yet deeply intuitive approach to bodywork. She blends advanced techniques with a rich understanding of anatomy to get to the root of pain, dysfunction, and limited mobility. She specializes in a range of conditions, including chronic tension, injuries, postural imbalances, SI dysfunction, frozen shoulder, Scoliosis, TMJ, headaches, or simply the wear and tear of everyday life—always with the goal of restoring natural movement and long-term function.

Healing doesn’t stop at the physical. She believes that wellness begins when we honor the connection between body and mind. Through her own healing experience, she became a self-care and healing coach and a meditation practitioner/teacher. Her massage work integrates thoughtful breathwork, mindful awareness, and nervous system regulation to support the whole person, not just the muscles and joints.

Outside of her practice, Laura finds joy and balance by connecting with nature, hiking, downhill skiing, writing, yoga, playing her instruments and composing music. She believes in lifelong learning and is always seeking to expand her own knowledge and well-being.
